The bestIf you need to reboot or clamp your CV boots this is the only tool to use. The small square one is descent, but this will really get it done for you fast and efficiently. Where the square one is hard to get ahold of w the axle being round and the clamp, this one shines. Hookup the ratchet w an extension and tighten it down. Easy peasy
This tool worked really well for my small projectThis product worked well for my project where I needed to tie down the new rubber boots for the my inner tie rods. While my crimp is not the typical factory look it is a technically correct crimp with good tension. I cleaned the power steering rack well where the new rubber boot touches the aluminum housing and replaced/applied some new grease to the pinion gear also.
