Two cat's paws — 8" and 12" — with a forked claw on one end and a flat starting wedge on the other. The short bar works trim and tight corners; the long one digs framing nails. Demo and salvage with the nail heads out, not snapped off.

  • 8" bar for detail work, 12" bar for framing-scale pulls
  • Forked claw digs under heads; flat wedge starts the gap
  • Dual-end design means four working profiles in two tools
  • Pulls nails clean for reusable lumber and safe demo

Great Little Pry Bars/Nail Pullers

There have been SOOO many times over the years when I've been in the middle of a job that had me wishing I had one of these. I've always mucked my way through with other tools, one way or another, then proceeded to forget to look for one when I had the time or opportunity. Then the next time I could have used one, of course, I had to muck my way through another job... These little beauts came along just in time for the most recent need. I'm tearing apart s…

Good value for high-quality nail pullers

I chose this two‑piece nail puller set because I wanted a pair of cats paw pry bars that could handle both tight spaces and heavier work, and this set delivers exactly that. The eight‑inch bar is easy to control when I am working close to a surface, while the twelve‑inch bar gives me the extra reach and leverage I need for larger tasks. The twelve‑inch bar has claws on both ends and the eight-inch bar has a claw one end and a wedge on the other, and those …

Pulls nails clean, but the paint chips fast

I used both bars to pull old rusty framing nails and pry apart scrap lumber. The steel is solid and doesn't bend when you really lean on it, and the ground claw slides right under sunken nail heads without chewing up the wood too badly. The 12-inch bar gives you good leverage, while the little 8-inch one fits nicely into tight corners. My only complaint is the red coating. The red paint started chipping off the neck and edges as soon as I hit the pry bar w…

8" puller has wide and narrow ends. Tools look and feel well made with good machining. Durable.

These nail pullers look and feel well made and are very effective. I ordered the 2-piece nail puller set which includes an 8" and 12" puller. Each has pry tools on both ends of the tool. The 12" has narrow ends on both sides. The tool is made of metal and feels both sturdy and substantial. Most of the tool is covered in a red coating and has a very nice look to it. The pry ends are exposed machined metal with good shaping. The narrow ends work well to get …
