This is the best pulled you can buy, for sureThis is real sturdy construction. Unlike the harbor, freight, jaw pulls the arms of this puller run parallel with the bolt so the ends of the arms are at a weird angle, trying to grab the gear that allows you to get a much better grip on it. HUGE Improvement Over Older 2 Jaw Gear PullersI'm a Former Mechanic that is Retired now and Yes Still working on Everyone cars. Most mechanics work by themselves and often with no one around for a helping hand. On the Older 2 Jaw Pullers that I Have, there is no way to lock the jaws in place until you're able to apply Pressure with the Bolt to hold it in position and start to pull.
